Adrian, MI – Brint Electric a long time commercial and industrial electrical contractor based in Toledo, OH has purchased Clegg Electric of Adrian, MI. Clegg Electric, a family focused commercial and industrial electrical contractor was founded in 1972 by H. Michael Clegg. In 1977 Mike and Ed Clegg joined their father in the family business. Clegg has provided many local commercial and industrial customers S. E. Michigan with quality work for over 40 years.
Ray Brint, President of Brint Electric said “it made a lot of sense to purchase Clegg. We have seen a tremendous growth in our business in the Adrian and Tecumseh area and we have out grown the current office space in Adrian. Additionally, they have a good group of people working there.”
Brint Electric, which has a current office located at 727 ½ Bradish St in Adrian will move out of that facility and move into the Clegg office located at 121 N Tecumseh, in Adrian. Roman Dowhaniuk a project manager in the Toledo office will be the new Branch Manager. Roman, his wife and two children live in the area and his children attend Madison. The current staff of electricians will remain employed and continue to serve their local customers. Both Mike and Ed Glegg plan on retiring.
GUSCO Energy, a division of Brint Electric will also move into the 121 N Tecumseh location. GUSCO Energy specializes in design, engineering and installation of energy efficient projects such as LED systems, Combined Heat and Power and Solar. Bruce Ross of Tecumseh will be the regional sale representative based out of the new location.
Brint Electric is a 45 year old commercial and industrial electrical contractor that provides pre-construction, construction, maintenance and voice/data/security for institutional, commercial and industrial for clients across the country. GUSCO Energy is a wholly owned Brint Electric company.
